Role:
The business champion acts as the focal point of the companies’ resource efficiency programme, as well as facilitating it.
Type of character:
The champion must be familiar with the company staff as well as an overall knowledge of the processes and systems within the company. This is usually a production or quality manager.
The champion must also be able to motivate staff as well as have credibility across all levels of the company.
Teams:
The teams should be made up of employees from all sectors of the company, this provides a greater buy in and integration of the programme.
