Businesses nationwide are preparing for the launch of the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) next month April 2010.

The scheme requires companies to monitor and report their emissions. This will then lead to you buying allowances corresponding to these emissions.

The environment agency will then produce a league table of companies performance, with money from the allowances going back into recycling initiatives in the companies.
