Bristol council are looking to run a 6 month pilot scheme rewarding households who reduce their kerbside waste with £30 - £40 a year.

The scheme is the first of its kind in England. Since 2004/5 waste has been reduced by 23,000 tonnes this equates to £4 million of public money. By reducing this further the public with save even more money.
