Carbon Monitoring - Understanding the Output and Analysis

The emissions per company information are used to measure carbon emissions as a measure of intensity rather than absolutely. This is based on the company information entered on the introduction tab. This can be useful if the company has grown or contracted since the previous year, it can also be used to compare to other businesses.

The output shows the energy consumed and the emissions from each of these. There is also a change from previous year for each energy type, this shows trends which can also be viewed in the graphs tab.
Looking at this output and the graph that shows emissions per section of company will enable you to determine which part of your company is having the largest impact. This is likely to then be where the first efforts should be made to increase efficiency etc. This is also demonstrated by the graphs tab.
